Newly-promoted West Brom are closing in on a deal for West Ham's Grady Diangana.

Former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is keen to bring back Diagana, who earned promotion with the Baggies on loan last season, on a permanent basis.

The two clubs have been in talks over a deal for some time and are closing in on a deal that could reach around £18million after add-ons.

Diangana's exit would come as a blow to manager David Moyes. The Scot moved to recall the winger from his loan in January before an injury struck and Diangana remained with West Brom.

Moyes is keen to add youth to his squad and would welcome the return of the 22-year-old, who scored eight goals and made seven assists in the Championship last season.

However, with competition for places at West Ham - with Felipe Anderson, Jarrod Bowen and Andriy Yarmolenko still part of Moyes's plans at this stage - Diangana is keen for more guaranteed game time.

London rivals Fulham are also interested in a deal for Diangana, though the Baggies are in pole position.
