​Dine on Design: Corner Room

Bethnal Green Town Hall is the imposing Grade II-listed Edwardian building that was buffed up four years ago and transformed into a hotel with several restaurants, a bar, some private function rooms and a pool.

With its glamorous, Art Deco Thirties interiors still gloriously intact, it’s a marvellous snippet of social history, spanning several different eras. You feel as if Harold Wilson might come out of a door at any moment. But then so might Marlene Dietrich.
