Katie Price has shown her Instagram followers how hard simple daily tasks can be with two broken feet.

The 42-year-old broke both her feet while on holiday in Turkey last month, and has kept her social media followers updated on her recovery.

One of her more recent Instagram posts showed the difficulties the star faced taking a bath, with the mother-of-five explaining the great lengths she had to go to in order to prevent her cast from getting wet.

"Got to use my upper body strength to get in the bath legs up run the water and cannot get my cast wet... such a mission to have a bath!" Price said.

Posing with her legs raised up against the edge of the tub, she showed her sense of humour by captioning a snap: “Well at least I’m working my core strength!”

The bath came after Price was rushed to hospital over the weekend after doctors feared she had contracted an infection in her feet, which they are currently treating.

“Katie was in so much pain on Friday that she was in tears,” a source close to the entrepreneur told The Sun.

“Doctors have told her she must lie down and keep her legs raised as much as possible and she’s been following their orders as much as she can.

“But from Friday morning the pain was getting worse and worse. She’s never experienced anything like it and, in the end, there was no choice but to take her back into hospital.”

The insider continued: “One of the hardest things for Katie has been the lack of sleep. The injury has made it nigh on impossible for her to get any rest and slowly that has ground her down.

“Doctors did warn Katie that it wouldn’t be plain sailing but she is gutted at the moment and everyone is having to rally to try and keep her spirits up.”

Price revealed that she may not be back on her feet for another six months, but it has since been reported that it could take up to two years to recover from her injuries.
