If you're looking for inspiration to liven up your walls but have no idea where to start, then this is the event for you.

From May 10-13, the Affordable Art Fair will return to London to showcase the best of the UK’s artistic talent.

Showcasing both work from up-and-coming artists and emerging talent, the fair offers the opportunity to view special exhibition of work from graduates from the University of the Arts London.

Prices for prints and figurative art start from £100 and rise up to £6,000 for serious statement pieces.

London-based illustrator and printmaker Jess Wilson was selected to show her brightly coloured work at the Royal Academy in 2015 and has since been commissioned by brands including British Vogue, Nike and The Guardian.

Wilson has become famed for her graphic maps and she was included in the British Museum map collection in 2015. This year, first-class stamp screen prints by Wilson will be for sale for £145.

Successful street artist Ben Eine showcases his distinct typographic style with his V wall hanging, priced at £150.

MAKE A STATEMENT
Large-scale wall art has seen a recent surge in popularity, with searches up by 600 per cent on Pinterest. To get an idea of the size and scale of large wall art, view statement pieces at the fair by Christine Relton and Tom Marine, who paint collaboratively to create their large-scale artworks, as well as the hyperreal aesthetic of Laurence Jones, including his large-scale night time condo scenes.

If you're looking for a more interactive experience, there is a special workshop by ceramicist Nam Tran on the idea of Wabi-Sabi, which focuses on finding the beauty in imperfections.

WHEN AND WHERE: The Affordable Art Fair runs from May 10-13 at Hampstead Heath, Lower Fairground Site, NW3 1TH.
