Who said money can’t buy class? You can buy it in heaps for a cool £7.95 million at this seven-bedroom house in Leinster Gardens, W2.

It once belonged to the late leading architectural publisher Andreas Papadakis, who established his HQ there in 1974.

It quickly became a landmark due to its red, pink, purple and yellow colour scheme, devised by architect Terry Farrell.

Papadakis worked there with artists Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, and architectural historian Charles Jencks.

The Grade II-listed home was built in 1857 by Henry de Bruno Austin who also created two dummy houses in the street to hide a Tube line.

Papadakis’s house, with six floors, vaulted ceilings and Victorian coving, is for sale through Harrods Estates.
