Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has joined Inter Milan in a deal costing just €1million in variables.

The Chilean travelled to Italy on Sunday and has now completed a move to the Nerazzurri after two seasons at Camp Nou.

"FC Barcelona and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Arturo Vidal," the Blaugrana said on their website on Tuesday.

"The Italian club will pay FC Barcelona 1 million euros in variables."

Vidal played 96 official games for Barca, scoring 11 goals and winning two trophies in his time at the Catalan club.

"FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Arturo Vidal for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future," Barca added.

The 33-year-old won eight league titles in a row in three different countries between 2012 and 2019, but saw that impressive streak brought to an end as Barcelona failed to claim a major trophy in 2019-20.
