Slide by this branch of the successful chain of bar and bistro operators during a weekday afternoon and you'd be forgiven for thinking the Wandsworth Ghost had moved into the place. Outside, the sign proudly boasts 'Open All Day, & Days', but press your nose up to the glass and see the furniture piled high with the doors firmly locked. But fear not. I have it on good authority that they just decided to close during weekday afternoons and return to business as usual again in the evening. The food is substantial, a decent wine list is offered and the service is usually brisk. Even though this branch has been around for a relatively short period of time, it's starting to look very grubby. But I guess if it's struggling for business they can't afford an annual spruce up.
