AS any girl who eats Yorkie bars will know, labelling a food product for men only is not going to put us off. This is the case with a new assortment of pickles and sauces made by PR man and former Harrods and Selfridges' food and product manager Andre Dang.

The new range of Man Food — with a big capital "M" on every lid — is described by Dang as food "that blokes can grab out of the cupboard and enjoy with cheeses, cold cuts, pies or meat".

It includes "Bread and Butter" cucumber pickle, piccalilli, a seriously addictive smoked tomato sauce and the sweet, spicy, fishy Achar, which has already won support with food bloggers on Twitter. I've heard rumours of a ManfoodAddicts page launching soon. Look out for my name.
