Driftwood: an acrobatic show about the journey of life

Thomas Triebel7 May 2017

Driftwood, an acrobatic show, will be headlining in the 2017’s edition of the Underbelly Festival on the Southbank from 4 May.

Driftwood is an exploration of human connexion according to Jesse Scott, co-founder of the show. He explains: “We were quite intrigued by pieces of driftwood and how they float down a stream or in the ocean. They hit one another, they tangle and then they separate. We thought that was a bit like humans and the journey of life.”

Driftwood will be performed in London for the first time.

They strive to interpret that journey through acrobatics and movements.

The show is not set in stone and part of it will be improvised, so that each person will walk out with a difference experience.
