Grime and dubstep label Butterz hosts the launch party for producer Swindle’s funk and jazz-influenced second album, Long Live The Jazz. Swindle will perform a debut live set at Fire to celebrate the release, with support from drum ‘n’ bass heavyweight Roni Size, Butterz mainstays Terror Danjah and Elijah & Skilliam, Rinse FM’s Josey Rebelle and jungle veteran Uncle Digs.

Herr Kettner’s Kabaret

Kettner’s, Fri Jun 14

Swanky Soho champagne bar Kettner’s has teamed up with the organisers of the decadent Twenties-themed Candlelight Club to host a time travelling soirée. But there’s a twist – instead of transporting revellers back to the US in the Thirties, or the UK in the Forties, as many others do, Kettner’s Kabaret transforms the venue into Germany’s Weimar Republic. Jazz is just breaking through, aristocrats share tables with revolutionaries and futurism reigns.

Kettner’s Restaurant & Champagne Bar, 29 Romilly Street, W1D 5HP, 7pm-2am, £20, herrkettnerskabaret.com

Found: The Warehouse After Party

Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, Sat Jun 15

As the sun sets on Found’s Haggerston park festival, the punters will head south to keep the hedonistic flame alive. The after party promises hardcore house and techno, with extended sets from leading DJs and producers including Deetron, Amine Edge and Waifs & Strays. Maya Jane Coles headlines, ahead of the release of her debut album in July.

Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, 29 Great Suffolk Street, SE1 0NS, 9pm-6am, £17.50, foundseries.co.uk

A Headphone Holiday

Queen of Hoxton, Sat Jun 15

Queen of Hoxton is hosting a series of summer daytime discos on its roof to make the most of the weather. They’ll be handing out headphones so partygoers can decide how loud they want it and so as not to disturb the neighbours. To kick off proceedings they’ve enlisted Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B, who’ll be playing a mixture of funk, soul, reggae and house. If that wasn’t enough there's an all-day BBQ, frozen cocktails and an ice cream float bar.

Queen of Hoxton, 1 Curtain Road, EC2A 3JX, 12pm-7pm, £7, queenofhoxton.com

The Dark Circus Party

Bloomsbury Ballroom, Sat Jun 15

Bourne & Hollingsworth, the minds behind the Blitz Party and new cocktail bar the Reverend J. W. Simpson, add another string to their bow with this gothic circus. Teaming up with twisted cabaret stars Torture Garden, The Dark Circus Party promises a mixture of the surreal and subversive, with sequinned costumes and delicious cocktails. Not one for the faint hearted.

Bloomsbury Ballroom, Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, WC1B 4DA, 9pm-3am, £20, belleepoqueparty.com

World Unknown Up on the Roof

The Lambeth, Sun Jun 16

Legendary underground night World Unknown surfaces this month for a rare daytime roof terrace party at The Lambeth, formerly Brixton Clubhouse. No big names here, just residents Joe Hart and Andy Blake, playing their favourite records in the sunshine. In their own words: "It'll be like Ibiza in the 80s with a hint of Strangeways in 1990."

The Lambeth, 467 Brixton Road, SW9 8HH, 2pm-10pm, £8, worldunknown.co.uk
