Rio is ready and the stage is set: the 2016 Olympics have arrived.

If you've not made it to Brazil to watch Team GB go for gold, there are plenty of spots around London screening all the sport.

While your local is likely to be showing some of what's on, the big screens across the city are a more reliable bet – and promise terrific atmosphere.

The USA and China are expected come out on top this year, with Russia performing less well compared to previous years after losing around a third of their squad to disqualification, owing to use of banned substances. The UK are expected to end up anywhere between third and eighth on the medal table.
