Night owls, get ready to shake your tailfeathers.

Warmer evenings are on their way, meaning more and more excuses to stay up – and out – past your bedtime.

We all know London’s bar, restaurant and theatre scenes come alive at night, but so are more and more of the city’s cultural hotspots.

With the arrival of the Night Tube making it all a little easier, and festivals like Lumiere London and Art Night coaxing culture vultures out after sunset, the capital seems increasingly keen to become a city that rarely sleeps.

For sightseers, there’s no reason to stop after-dark – in fact, you’ll find a whole new capital to explore, with the likes Big Ben and St Paul’s lit up spectacularly throughout the night.

Sky-high bars and restaurants top towering landmarks like the The Shard, The Gherkin and Sky Garden, meaning you can take in the skyline while it sparkles until late in the evening.

So switch on the flash, get nocturnal and prepare to be illuminated.
