Krept and Konan to switch on the Christmas lights at Boxpark Croydon

Special guests are turning on Christmas lights all over the capital, and next week popular grime duo Krept and Konan will do the honours at Boxpark Croydon.

The pair will flick the switch on Thursday November 29 at 7.30pm. It will mark the beginning of the festive season at Boxpark Croydon, which includes Christmas movie screenings, a Made in Croydon craft market, a wreath making workshop and a variety of DJ nights and parties. The site is also offering a free festive tipple to anyone who poses next to the Boxpark Christmas tree and posts it on social media.

For anyone hungry, street food vendors will be on-hand serving up treats during the event, so guests can enjoy dishes from Coqfighter, Kubo, Fish, Wings and Tings and more.

It won't be the first time the Wo Wo Wo duo draw a crowd in their hometown. Earlier this year, they launched their very own pop-up restaurant at Boxpark in October called Crepes and Cones, which offered crepes, waffles, cornflake chicken wings and a coconut shrimp burger. Sadly it won't be making an appearance at the switch on.
