A Bite Out In London - The Capital in Knightsbridge

1/2
5 April 2012
What to expect

Hot dishes
The fish dishes at The Capital are impressive. If Salmon En Croute is on the menu, give it a go for a starter. For main course, the Dover Sole 'Silver Jubilee' is fit for royalty and was created for Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II. The Scottish Lobster Thermidor is also delicious. Hazelnut sponge served with caramelised white chocolate foam makes for a delicious pudding.

Drink Up
Amongst the wonderful wine list are also bottles from the restaurant's own vineyard, The Levin Winery, in the Loire Valley, France - owned and operated by David Levin, proprietor of The Capital Hotel.

Ambience
Small and intimate, expect a friendly atmosphere with lots of food appreciation from diners. The service at The Capital is superb so it is worth asking for advice on the best dishes and specials.

Where to find it
On a quiet street opposite Harrods. Knightsbridge tube station is just around the corner.
