Exclusive tickets to The Laphraoig debate to give away

5 April 2012

Laphroaig Malt Whisky in association with The Spectator have created a series of debates. The subject of the second debate will be: "Who runs the country the press or politicians?" The panel debate will be chaired by Boris Johnson (The Spectator editor and Conservative MP for Henley) and will feature two pro press and two pro politician speakers.

The panellists for the politicians are The Rt. Hon Francis Maude MP and The Rt. Hon George Osborne MP. Those for the press are - Rod Liddle and Michael Gove.

Laphroaig is distilled on the remote Scottish island of Islay, whose harsh climate and tough landscape have helped to create the most strongly flavoured of all Scotch whiskies.

Laphroaig is enjoyed by individuals with discerning palates who single-mindedly follow their own highly developed sense of taste. It's these unique characteristics that encourage people to wax lyrical over a glass of Laphroaig.

This first debate will take place at Simpsons-in-the-Strand (London) from 6.45pm onward on Thursday 27th November 2003 and we have 5 pairs of exclusive tickets to give away.
