There was no shortage of talent as The X Factor continued on Sunday night, with a couple of sure final contenders.

From a original song from Dee Lush to two musical belters from Lanya Matthews and Shan, the audience were spoiled for choice as they clapped and cheered most of the session.

Once again, judges Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Field and Robbie Williams sat in the most important seats in the house as they watched the best Wembley had to offer.

Here are our five must-see auditions from episode six…

Dreamgirl: Lanya Matthews, 17, took on a massive Jennifer Hudson song - and won

Bella Penfold

Bella, a hotel singer from Essex, already had the judges rooting for her with her bubbly personality and sheer determination. The hopeful told Cowell that she “does what makes her happy and that’s good” when he asked if she thought she had what it takes. Her impressive answer earned her a famous thumbs up before she had even whispered a note.

Her performance of Joss Stone’s Fell In Love With A Boy, never standing still on the stage during it, earned her four yeses. Williams told the 19-year-old she’s “dangerous” because she doesn’t know “what she’s going to do next” while Cowell saw her “raw talent”, although urged her to stop “trying to be American”.

Lanya Matthews

The 17-year-old may have already outed herself as this year’s winner after leaving Cowell and the others almost speechless with her rendition of And I Am Telling You (I’m Not Going).

Lanya, a student from Tottenham, was hailed as amazing by all four judges and the rest of the audience, with Tomlinson telling her vocal is “insane” and Cowell – who practically jumped out of his seat on her last note – told her the audition was a “statement”.

Dee Lush

The 32-year-old teacher was third out on Sunday, and the third to get a standing ovation. Williams was even up dancing from the second Dee started her original song.

Performing her own track, flanked by an army of backing dancers and with her own impressive moves, the South East London hopeful got her four yeses.

Nathan Grisdale

The bubbly Blackburn boy, who introduced himself with a fun fact about being allergic to cats, already had a fan in Tomlinson after babbling on about one of his six dogs having puppies.

Nervous Nathan impressed with his version of Andra Day’s Rise Up and earned his place in the next round.

Shan

The 25-year-old session singer, with pretty much her whole family backstage, made the leap from session singer to centre stage singer with her performance of Loren Allred’s Never be Enough.

Shan, from Croydon, told the judges she aspires to be a role model as well as follow her singing dream. Her audition had everybody on their feet before the emotional singer was lavished with praise and four yeses.

The X Factor continues Saturday 22 September on ITV.
