Westminster Bridge terrorist Khalid Masood was filmed being treated just minutes after the terror attacks for a new BBC documentary.

Extraordinary scenes in which the terrorist is the first person to be treated by doctors following the incident will air next week as part of BBC2’s show, Hospital.

A camera crew was filming the second series of the programme at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington on March 22 when Masood was the first casualty to arrive.

The terrorist can be seen arriving at A&E on a stretcher, before a medic can be heard saying: “The first one is RIP.”

The 52-year-old attacker was shot by armed police after he ploughed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before fatally stabbing Pc Keith Palmer in the grounds of the Palace of Westminster.

Two French teenagers and a 40-year-old British man who were injured in the attacks are also followed by cameras as they recover in hospital.

Yann, 18, who suffered a serious head injury after being hit from behind, described how it was the “worst day of my life.”

“I felt scared, very scared. I didn’t know what was going to happen or if I was going to die. I thought of my mum,” he told the cameras.

Speaking about his decision to include footage of Massood, producer Simon Dickson said: “He's part of the story, and his appearance in the film is as you see it.

"It's brief, but his arrival is a key part of the day, and that is fully reflected in the way that scene is handled."

The first episode of Hospital airs on BBC2 on June 20.
