Taylor Swift came face to face with former flame Joe Jonas’ new wife Sophie Turner on The Graham Norton Show.

The singer appeared on the BBC chat show to perform her latest single ME!.

Turner, who shot to fame as Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones, joined co-stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Michael Fassbender on Norton’s sofa to promote the latest X-Men instalment, Dark Phoenix.

Swift dated the middle Jonas Brother in 2008 before he reportedly ended the relationship with a 25 second phone call.

The romance inspired a song on her 2008 album Fearless, with the musician famously calling out her ex on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, telling the host: “There’s one (song) that’s about that guy, but that guy’s not in my life any more, unfortunately. That’s ouch.

“We haven’t talked since, but you know what, someday I’m gonna find someone really really great who’s right for me.

“When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.”

Speaking to DeGeneres about the incident earlier this month, she said that putting Jonas “on blast” was one of the most “rebellious” things she did as a teenager, telling the presenter: “That was too much.”

Suggesting that the pair are now on better terms, she added: “We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there.”

The couple got engaged in October 2017 after dating for one year.

Turner, who recently said goodbye to her Game of Thrones character for good, told Norton that it is “nice to be able to tell all” after being sworn to secrecy over the show’s plot.

Opening up about growing up in the spotlight, having first appeared on the show as a teen, Turner said that she wished she’d had “the university experience.”

“I wish I could have gone out and drunk a lot and thrown up in the middle of a club without it being photographed!” she told Norton. “But I am happy with my Game of Thrones experience. I don’t think I missed out on too much.”

Meanwhile Swift revealed that some of her dedicated fans have already worked out the name of her new album, after teasing them with a series of clues.

“I like to tease my fans, and some have definitely worked out the name, and it’s my fault as I’ve given lots of clues, but I can’t change my mind now,” she said after her performance.

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One on May 24 at 10.35pm
