A host of past winners and famous faces will take to the dance floor for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

In one of the most star-studded festive line-ups yet, former contestants including Harry Judd and Abbey Clancy will show off their dance moves once again.

The BBC has announced that Judd, who was crowned winner back in 2011, will be paired with Jo Clifton while Clancy will dance with Brendan Cole.

Other past performers returning for the one-off show include Alison Hammond, Lisa Snowden and Tom Chambers.

Cassidy Little, the Royal Marines medic who won The People’s Strictly, will also take to the dance floor.

The show’s professional dancers including Pasha Kovalev, Robin Windsor and Natalie Lowe are also scheduled to take part.

This year’s Christmas special will see the couples perform routines around themes including Alice in Wonderland and Scrooge.

Judges Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman, Craig Revel-Horwood and Bruno Tonioli will sit on the panel while Tess Daley and Bruce Forsyth will host.

Dame Shirley Bassey will be the special musical guest.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will be broadcast on Christmas Day.
