The comedian, 32, might have won over the judges with his Matrix-themed Paso Doble on Saturday night, but the photos of him passionately kissing his dance partner left viewers less than impressed.

According to Betfair, Walsh is now favourite to go this weekend with odds of 6/4, followed by Dr Ranj Singh who is 3/1 to go.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “It’s been quite the weekend for Seann Walsh who went from hero to zero on the Strictly dancefloor with his stomping Paso Doble with partner Katya Jones.

“The judges loved the raw passion shown between them, which clearly spilled into the night after pictures of the pair snogging emerged the next day.

“Seann may face a backlash from viewers for his transgression as despite his comeback on the dancefloor is the 6/4 favourite to be eliminated this weekend.”

But it seems that the comedian might not even make it to next week’s show, as he is currently 16/1 to quit the show before he gets voted off.

A number of Strictly viewers have called for Walsh to step down from the show of his own volition, out of respect for his girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries.

Dan Wooton told Lorraine: “I think they should also postpone their appearance on Strictly Come Dancing too. If Seann Walsh had any feelings for his poor girlfriend Rebecca Humphries who has been humiliated, if he had any sense of morals or what is right, he should walk right now.”

Walsh and Jones were photographed sharing a passionate kiss in the street after an alcohol-fuelled night out last week.

They have both since apologised, branding the incident a “drunken one-off mistake”.

Jones has been married to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones since 2013 while Walsh lives with his girlfriend of more than three years.
