Piers Morgan hinted he thinks Katie Price needs to “grow up” as he quizzed her on the “perpetual chaos” in her life.

Price, 40, joined Good Morning Britain to discuss her new reality TV show My Crazy Life which gives fans access to all aspects of her life from family, to work and romances.

“Your life seems from an outsider to be one of perpetual chaos and yet you’ve got all these kids,” Morgan said. “How do you equate the two? Is there a point where you look at yourself in the mirror sometimes and think ‘I need to grow up’?”

Susanna Reid feared he had over stepped the mark as she was heard grimacing, to which Morgan said: “I’m serious.”

Price replied: “I believe you live each day as if it’s your last. What is perfect? I’ve got five kids by three different guys .That’s just the way it is. There is always a drama.”

Price previously said the last year had felt like being inside a “washing machine” after learning of her mother’s terminal diagnosis, husband Kieran Hayler’s cheating and the death of her horse and German Shephard. She was also held at gunpoint in South Africa, had a kidnap threat on Harvey and spent time in rehab.

Reid asked if she feels allowing the cameras into her private life “exacerbates” the drama, but Price blamed the media for publishing “made up” headlines about her and her family.

“Believe it or not the things they are filming there is drama, but the media do more of the drama it’s so made up,” she said. “It’s so not me. I promise you.”

Morgan quizzed her on what she believes is made up, to which she said reports about her living in a “mucky mansion” before going on to dispute reports she was charged with drink-driving.

She was last week banned from the road for three months and fined £1,500 for being caught drunkenly in charge of her crashed pink Range Rover on October 10 last year.

Morgan, who posted a selfie with Price ahead of their on-air chat, also quizzed the former glamour model on her relationships which saw her launch an attack on her first husband Peter Andre over their two children Junior, 13, and Princess, 11.

“He won’t allow me to film with them, he won’t allow me to do photoshoots with them and he’s been such a hypocrite but unfortunately these days you need both parents’ permission,” she said.

“I want to put it out there that he’s really selfish and the kids are missing out on it. I don’t know why he’s doing it.”
