Love Island's Megan and Wes go out to sea for their final date while Dr Alex's and ex Alexandra's fight is cast away

But Megan probably has some apologising to do...

It’s a good thing Megan has really hit it off with Wes, because we’re not sure she’ll be welcome back at her grandparents’ house any time soon.

Yes, tonight’s Love Island episode showed us the remaining two dates as “Mes” and “Jaz” (they don’t work, do they?) headed off on their final dates.

Speaking to the Beach Hut after receiving a text about their outing, Megan gushed that she was excited to go on a “nice boat” as she has “only been on her grandparents’ s***** boat in Norfolk”.

Ouch. Good thing Wes wants to move over to Southend, because East Anglia is probably out.

In Megan and Wes’ case, it was actually their first date since getting together behind Laura’s back all those weeks ago.

Not one to shy away from shading his ex, Wes told Megan: “You can’t truly feel 100% happy until you are starting to fall in love and you are starting to love someone. I’ve definitely found the right person.

“As much as I say it, my Love Island experience did definitely not start until we were coupled up and we started seeing each other.”

Ouch. Again.

Meanwhile, Josh and Kaz went off to a roof (?) with a circus act for their one-on-one time with Josh having something massive to get off his chest.

#Awkward: Dr Alex and Alexandra are over - this time for good

After declaring that his head will not be turned outside the villa, he told his girlfriend that he is “definitely falling in love” - and Kaz feels the same.

Elsewhere, Dr Alex showed he has yet another string to his delightful bow as he moved back to the sofa for the evening. Yep, our lobster medic has been in the sun so much that he is actually delirious.

He told the pen fanatic: “I think I just need to speak to her this morning and check she’s alright. Because the thing is we get on really well.

“I honestly think we’ll be really good friends. She has a laugh, she gets my humour. We’ll be good friends, it’ll be a real shame not to.”

But Alexandra, unsurprisingly, wasn’t having any of it and seemed keen to prove that it won’t be third time lucky for the bumbling doctor - but not before she called him out yet again for leading her on and issues him a warning for future relationships.

Until she was having it, and decided to put things behind her...even APOLOGISING for being harsh on Dr Alex.

With only one episode and a matter of days left before the grand final, it’s time to say goodbye to another couple. The islanders were asked to vote for the pair they want to bin, who will the axe fall for now the viewers get the choice?

Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
