Love Island’s Georgia Steel has revealed her controversial kiss with Jack Fowler was filmed twice.

The duo caused a serious divide in the villa after Laura was told that her man Jack went in for a kiss with the 22-year-old after she picked him for a date, while Jack insisted that it was the other way around. She was left so upset she called time on their relationship.

Speculation that the kiss was filmed multiple times started thanks to the confusion over who kissed who and a 'moved' bottle of champagne in the background.

It appeared to be settled after Caroline Flack analysed the footage with the help of a VAR on spin-off show Aftersun.

But eagle-eyed fans compared the clips from each show, claiming differing footage proves the kiss was filmed multiple times.

However, following her shock exit from the show with new beau Sam Bird, Georgia told how she didn’t remember the kiss “like that.”

When quizzed if the kiss was filmed multiple times she said: “Yeah. I do what I want to do and they get the angles.”

Speaking to the Sun, she revealed: “Honestly, I remembered the kiss in such a different way to how I watched it back.

“When I watched it I absolutely cringed because that is not me. At the end of the day I had a few drinks, I was sat there chatting to Jack and the conversation flowed.

“I just got a little bit excited but I literally do not remember it like that.”

She added: “My toes curled when I watched it. If I watched that before going back to the villa then I would have said to Laura ‘look I got a bit excited’ but that wasn’t the case.”

Opening up about feeling guilty for not being honest with Laura, Georgia said: “I do feel bad.

“I didn’t tell Laura exactly what happened but we all make mistakes, it was only a kiss. But I don’t feel bad for Jack – it takes two to tango, he didn’t have to kiss me but he did.”
