The couple are expected to bond over their high-flying jobs and welsh backgrounds.

On what she is looking for in the villa, Rosie highlights that she enjoys spending time with someone who can “make me laugh”.

She explains: “I love someone who can make me laugh and I’ve got a lot of friends who are boys back home and I see them a lot after work and we’ll go and play golf.

“You’re a lovely guy and I’ve got high hopes for you.”

A seemingly impressed Alex adds: “I’ve got high hopes for you as well.”

Amid sparks flying between the pair, Alex later admits in the beach hut that he is feeling “more positive”.

He explains: “I’m feeling much more positive it was great to go on a date and have a nice time with someone and just have a chat. It was cool to have a connection.”
