The cast of the series announced during a live Q&A on Sunday, July 26 that not only was a third film confirmed - they had already filmed it.

That’s right; no coronavirus delays for this series. The second and third instalments of the series were shot simultaneously, and the third is currently in post production.

“I think I’m allowed to say this, [but] we actually are done filming already,” Joel Courtney, who plays Lee, said. “We filmed 2 and 3 at the exact same time.”

A teaser trailer has already been revealed for the third film, showing Elle ignoring a phone call from Harvard admissions while hanging out with Noah.

The film is expected in 2021.

What's Kissing Booth about?

The Kissing Booth is about a quirky teenager called Elle who strikes up a romance with older bad boy Noah - who happens to be her best friend Lee’s older brother.

Elle and Noah enter into a relationship that puts Elle’s friendship with Lee in jeopardy, but they reconcile by the end of the first film.
