Mary Berry has proved her flirting game is still strong in new show, Classic Mary Berry.

The former Great British Bake Off judge is back on the BBC on Monday for her new six-part cooking series - and she's serving up plenty of saucy innuendos.

The first episode sees Swedish chef Niklas Ekstedt join Berry for her latest tips, tricks and recipes.

As the 39-year-old stokes a fire, Berry, 82, quips: “It’s a long time since I’ve had a man on his knees in front of me.”

The episode also sees the pair prepare meatballs, with Berry asking: “Will there be a sauce for them? I like a bit of sauce.”

At one point, the two cooks sit down for a chat and soon gently whip each other with nearby tree branches.

Ekstedt quips: “These are the branches we use in the sauna to whip each other,” prompting Berry to admit it “sounds exciting”.

Berry adds: “How do you do it then? And you’re in the water together? Sounds quite good fun. I think I’m coming to Sweden.”

Classic Mary Berry airs Mondays at 8.30pm on BBC One.
