Comedian Shappi Khorsandi has been voted the first person to leave the I'm a Celebrity... jungle.

The 44-year-old stand-up cheered as Ant and Dec announced the eviction and said: "I'll see my babies."

She told her campmates: "I'm not upset, I will see you all on the other side."

Jamie Lomas, Amir Khan and Georgia Toffolo all secured elimination immunity for Dennis Wise after winning a challenge dubbed the Thread of Dread.

Tonight's episode saw Hollyoaks star Lomas disappoint his fellow Fright Club members after he failed to get a key to grant a Croc Creek camp mate immunity.

The Hollyoaks actor was chosen to join the secret society by founding members Georgia Toffolo and Amir Khan.

Ahead of his Grotholing Bushtucker Trial with Rebecca Vardy he was secretly told by Ant and Dec to look for the immunity key in the tunnel.

But Lomas struggled to find it when faced with rats, crickets and cockroaches in the pitch black.

On joining Toffolo and Khan at Snake Rock after the challenge Toffolo asked: “You look like you’ve been rolling around in poo, have you got the key?”

Lomas replied: “No, it was pitch black and I could not see a thing, all stuff was getting dropped on me apparently I went past the key about four times but because things were falling on me, I couldn’t see it.

“I’m staying here for now, I’m in Fright Club.”

Clearly disappointed, she said: “Annoying but nice to have the fresh company. Hopefully there will be another opportunity to win another key.”

But he later redeemed himself by helping Toffolo and Khan in the Thread of Dread challenge which saw them pass a key along a chain through hell holes.

On winning Lomas was given the key to unlock a portrait.

“I don’t know why but this one’s calling my name,” he said after scanning the wall of portraits. “It’s talking to me.”

Lomas opened the door to reveal Dennis Wise, saying: “Yes! I was always going to save my boy wasn’t I? Has anyone got a marker pen so I can write something on his head?”

Toffolo joked: “What a phallus?”

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, tomorrow night at 9pm
