Candice Brown is the seventh winner of the Great British Bake Off – and while the show has no cash prize, she’s expected to come into some highly lucrative deals.

According to celebrity agent Jonathan Shalit, Brown could be set to earn big money as the winner of the show.

“Candice is the most immediately accessible Bake Off winner – middle class, well spoken. I can imagine her doing a column for a paper or releasing a cookbook,” he told the Daily Mail.

“She is like a vintage, young Nigella Lawson. Adds a bit of sex appeal to baking. I’m confident she can earn £1 million.”

The 31 year-old PE teacher came out on top in the Series 7 final, edging ahead of competitors Jane Beedle and Andrew Smyth.

She impressed Paul and Mary with her showstopper picnic comprising of sausage rolls, mini quiches, cream tarts, scones, and a four-tier chocolate cake.

“Never ever, ever thought I’d ever even get on this, and I’m standing here now with this,” Brown said after winning.

“They said my name, and that means more to me than I think anyone will ever, ever realise. It really, really does.”

Judge Mary Berry lauded Brown’s ‘passion’ as she took the top prize.

“Her determination and passion, she really has excelled," she said. "Wonderful flavours, and everything always looked gorgeous.”

Paul Hollywood added: “Candice is very much all or nothing, when you look back on some of her bakes they’ve been beautiful. When she nails it, she’s one of the best.”

Brown will be the last Bake Off winner from the BBC series, which is due to move to Channel 4 in 2017.
