Candice Brown may have been crowned the ultimate star baker of The Great British Bake Off 2016 - but everyone was talking about ex contestant Val Stone.

The amateur baker and aerobics enthusiast – who was kicked off during pastry week – is planning a baking trip to Ayia Napa with her friends - and people want it to be made into a TV show.

Val's post Bake Off plans were unveiled at the end of Wednesday night's final.

Viewers were told she had been allowed back in to Yorkshire and was “planning a Bakers holiday to Ayia Napa”.

With Bake Off moving to Channel 4, viewers called on a TV makeover for Val's trip to Cyprus.

One fan tweeted: "If the BBC don't follow Val's adventures in Ayia Napa then they've seriously let us all down #gbbo.”

Another posted: "Images of Val and all the bakers partying in Ayia Napa are in my head and it's amazing #GBBOFinal

Others just wanted to make it their life mission to join Val on the trip with one tweeting: “If I don't make it to Ayia Napa with Val then I've failed at everything. #GBBO.”

PE teacher Candice was crowned the winner on the Royal themed finale, beating competitors Andrew Smyth and Jane Beele.

The trio were tasked with making meringue crowns for the signature round, Victoria sponges for the technical challenge and an epic 49 piece picnic for the showstopper round.

On winning Candice said: “Never ever, ever thought I’d ever even get on this, and I’m standing here now with this.

“They said my name, and that means more to me than I think anyone will ever, ever realise. It really, really does.”

The lipstick-wearing baker is now planning a road trip with Jane.

Series seven marked the last time the baking show will be on the BBC.

From 2017, the show will air on Channel 4 without Mary Berry and hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.
