Here’s one worth staying in on a Friday night for – Gogglebox is back.

While Channel 4’s First Dates is starting to become weary from over-exposure, it’s been a while since the nation’s favourite sofa-surfers have graced our screens.

You know what you're getting into with the entertaining reality show, but information about who's joined the show and who might be coming back is often kept under wraps.

Ahead of the first episode, here are six burning questions we have about Series 7.

1) Will any of the Gogglesprogs show up?

The kid-based spin-off proved a big hit over Christmas, with a cast of mini-humans who were just as entertaining as their grown-up counterparts.

There’s supposed to be a full Gogglesprogs series in the works – but it would be great to see a fusion of the two series into one glorious whole.

2) Will there be any new dogs?

Aside from the Gogglesprogs, what about the Goggledogs? (Hint: Channel 4, this is a show that we would definitely all watch.)

Last series it felt like every contributor had picked up a new pooch, adding an extra dimension of adorableness to the show. More pups, please.

3) What will Louis’ hair look like this time?

If you were to give each Goggleboxer a storyline from the beginning of the show, Louis Michael’s would certainly revolve about his hair, which grows wilder with every series.

Last year the mane was tied up into a frizzy ponytail, but judging from Louis’ Twitter profile he’s going for a Nineties Michael Jackson parting these days.

4) How long until Jenny and Lee start crying?

The Hull duo continue to be one of the show’s most underrated contributors, and can always be relied on to shed a few tears – even in programmes that aren’t that sad. Don’t worry guys, we love you for it.

5) How many new pairs of slippers will Kate have?

Reverend Kate’s collection of knitted slippers and tea-cosies is always a small but pleasing detail to keep an eye out for.

Best of all, she sometimes tweets about where she got each episode’s pair – so take a look on her profile if you get serious slipper-envy.

6) Will Sandra’s Pot Noodle goblet be back?

During the series break, Sandra has moved north of the Thames and settled into a new pad. We’re hoping that one key kitchen accessory has moved with her – the green Pot Noodle cup that she’s often seen taking a swig from.
