Gemma Collins has revealed Jason Gardiner’s backstage snub, claiming he refused to look at her during Dancing on Ice rehearsals.

The pair have had a fraught relationship on the show with Gardiner branding Collins a “brat” and Collins accusing him of selling stories about her.

Despite giving the TOWIE star four points for her Sunday night routine, Collins said Gardiner was far from amicable during their dress rehearsal.

“It was really weird,” she said on Good Morning Britain. “In rehearsal he wouldn’t look at me. Before the live show we have to do a run through and the judging panel are all there and he turned this way and I thought ‘oh no not this again’. Let’s move on from it.”

She continued: “I have to say I find him very amusing and I do agree with some of the comments he makes. I think he does it to get me going a bit but it also drives me on.

“The more his comments are awful the more I’m going to come back and give it.”

Collins broke down in tears after her dance to Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do, which saw her finish bottom of the leader board.

“My nerves have gone since the fall,” she said. “I’m really upset because obviously last week I’d really improved.”

Host Phillip Schofield comforted Collins, but sparked accusations of a “fix” after telling her: ““Well, we’ve got next week as well. So you’ve got the whole week to build back up again.”

Some claimed Schofield’s remark confirmed suspicions the public vote is rigged as Collins later survived to skate another week while Saira Khan was given the boot after finding herself in the bottom two with Ryan Sidebottom.

Schofield slammed the claims on Twitter, posting: “We say that to everyone! You are hilarious with your conspiracy theory. Voting is independently adjudicated. I only know the result as I say it.”

Dancing on Ice is on ITV, Sunday at 6pm
