Celebrity Big Brother viewers are calling for Stephen Bear to be kicked out of the house after he was accused of making a ‘homophobic’ comment.

Bear called fellow housemate Frankie Grande an “angry pussycat” after the pair had a heated argument over Bear wasting food to make a ‘cocktail’.

Grande accused the Ex on the Beach star of using the term because he is gay.

“Don't f****** call me a pussy cat, I'm not your anything,” Grande told Bear. “Are you calling me a pussycat because I'm gay? I am not your pussycat. I am your f****** worst nightmare now.”

Viewers were quick to slam Bear’s comment, and others called for him to be removed from the Channel 5 show.

Renee Graziano insisted Bear's comment wasn't homophobic and some viewers agreed, with one tweeting: "Why did frankie pull the homophobic card against bear it wasn't that at all #cbb."

Another posted: "I don't think Bear meant it in a homophobic way but if it gets him thrown out, I'll go with that! #CBB."

The argument kicked off after Bear decided to annoy his housemates by making a cocktail using the rationed food. He mixed juices together before throwing in freshly ground coffee.

Grande hit out at Bear when he found out the coffee had been wasted and told the reality TV regular: "That's stupidity, that's wasteful. There are people around this world that are starving. You've made that to prove a point. Have you lost your mind?

"You are wasting food, which there is not enough of on this planet, to be a d******* and to hurt your friends."

The argument comes days after Christopher Biggins was removed from the show for making offensive comments about bisexuality and for making a joke about Nazi extermination camps.

Celebrity Big Brother is on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
