Celebrity Big Brother star Ryan Thomas was separated from his fellow housemates after falling ill on the show.

At the beginning of Thursday’s episode, narrator Marcus Bentley announced that Thomas was feeling unwell and had been sent to a different bedroom to recuperate.

Bentley explained: “Ryan is feeling unwell. And on medical advice will be spending the day in the spare bedroom.”

Thomas, who has had a tough week in the house, was then shown tucked up in bed with a bin by his bedside, hinting he was feeling sick.

His quarantine wasn’t the first time the spare bedroom had been seen this series as Roxanne Pallett stayed in the room after accusing Thomas of “punching” her.

The former Emmerdale actress alleged Thomas hurt her during an altercation in the garden, sparking a huge backlash both inside and outside the house.

Immediately after the incident, Pallett cried in the Diary Room that she would like to sleep somewhere else before Thomas was formally warned by the show.

However, Pallett walked away from the house a few days later and has said she “got things really wrong” in televised interviews since .

Celebrity Big Brother continues Friday at 9pm on Channel 5.
