In one of the biggest and most controversial changes in the BBC’s recent history, BBC Three has ceased airing new shows.

The TV channel, aimed at a teenage and young adult audience, has become an online-only service as of February 16.

Here’s are seven things you need to know about BBC Three’s move online – and what that means for your favourite shows.

1) It’s still making new content

The BBC have been keen to stress that the original British comedy, documentaries and dramas that BBC Three was well known for are still being made – and it will all be available on the iPlayer-powered BBC Three website.

2) You can check the ‘Daily Drop’ for new additions

To keep on top of the latest content from BBC Three – whether that’s a new series, or a YouTube short – the Daily Drop section of the website is where all the latest stuff will be posted.

3) The TV channel is just showing trailers and previews

You’ll notice that BBC Three hasn’t actually disappeared from your digital TV guide yet – for the moment, it’s showing teasers for new content that will be available online.

4) Lots of your favourite shows are available as free boxsets

Over the years, BBC Three has been responsible for bringing us loads of classic shows – from comedies like Little Britain and The Mighty Boosh to zombie drama In The Flesh.

Some of these shows are available as online ‘box sets’, and you can stream them for free.

5) New content will still only be available for 30 days

As usual, new content on the service won’t be around forever – it will be available for 30 days before it disappears, just like the rest of BBC iPlayer.

6) You can still watch Don’t Tell The Bride – for now

Good news – if you’re suffering withdrawals from the endlessly watchable Don’t Tell The Bride, there’s an online box set of episode available for the next month. Make the most of it though – the show is moving to Sky later this year.

7) Family Guy has gone to ITV

Don’t fret, Family Guy fans. ITV have taken on all of Seth MacFarlane’s shows, so you’ll still be able to catch up with the Griffins / Smiths / Browns on ITV 2 later this year.
