After weeks of build-up, Sport Relief 2016 is finally here.

The BBC charity fundraising night has seen some heroic efforts from celebrities, sporting stars and the general public to get active and make some cash for a good cause.

With the live show being broadcast across the UK tonight, here’s what you need to know – from when to tune in, what to expect, and how to donate.

1) When to watch

There’s six hours of coverage for Sport Relief tonight – from 7pm to 10pm on BBC One, 10pm to 10.40pm on BBC Two, and then 10.35pm to 1am on BBC One.

2) What’s on this year

There have already been tons of charity shows for Sport Relief – from a four-episode Bake Off run, to Famous, Rich and Homeless – but there are still loads of goodies for the night itself.

Most exciting is the return of Some Mother Do ‘Ave ‘Em’s hapless hero Frank Spencer, who finds himself in a “chance meeting” with Bradley Wiggins for a one-off sketch.

Elsewhere, Idris Elba and Lenny Henry team up with sports stars for a daft Luther-themed skit, while James Corden’s Gavin & Stacey character Smithy puts in his bid for the FIFA presidency.

The show should also include a live broadcast of Eddie Izzard finishing his jaw-dropping ’27 marathons in 27 days’ feat in South Africa.

3) Clash of the Titans

Two celebrity sports teams are facing off in this year’s Clash of the Titans competition, taking place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – so expect regular updates on how that’s going through the show.

Sir Steve Redgrave and Freddie Flintoff are the captains, with McFly’s Harry Judd, Will Young, Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, comedians Hugh Dennis, Russell Kane, and Paddy McGuinness, EastEnders’ Maddy Hill, and Mark Wright among the names taking part.

From track cycling, to rhythmic gymnastics, wrestling, triathlons, and synchronised swimming, it should be one of the highlights of the night.

4) How to donate

As well as accepting phone-ins during the live show (tune in for the number), you can donate to Sport Relief online here.
