What is A League Of Their Own?

The popular show – shortened to ALOTO – has been a fan-favourite since its debut in March 2010, hosted by Corden and with a red and blue team captained by Redknapp and Flintoff respectively.

John Bishop (red) and Georgie Thompson (blue) were regulars on the show for the first four series, with Whitehall joining from series five onwards in place of Thompson. The Bad Education star has now been replaced by Ranganathan.

Each show follows the same format, with three rounds. The first round involves both teams having to rank three sporting names in order according to a specific - usually comical - criterion. The second round involves teams having to answer questions about a famous face, often one sitting in the studio next to them.

The third round is a challenge sponsored by Right Guard, who have a partnership with the show. Two members of each team have to answer questions to earn points but the time they have depends on how long the third member can sustain the physical challenge.

Why did Jack Whitehall leave A League Of Their Own?

In an interview with The Sun, Whitehall said: “I’ve actually made the decision to leave A League Of Their Own.
