Pixie Lott will play Holly Golightly in a stage adaption of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at Theatre Royal Haymarket next year.

The play – based on Truman Capote’s novel – will be produced by Nikolai Foster in his inaugural season as artistic director of Curve Leicester theatre.

It will debut at the Leicester theatre, running there from 3 March to 12 March 2016 before touring the UK – taking in Leicester, Canterbury, Leeds, Salford, Birmingham, Southampton, Dublin and Plymouth – until June 18, after which it will settle in London from 30 June.

Foster said of Lott’s casting that she “is absolutely electrifying” and “has old-school star quality”.
