Not even constant changes of personnel seem able to dim the panache of this snazzy musical set on deathrow in the Twenties.
It remains a brazen, leggy knees-up with hardened jail birds vying for publicity in sleazy Chicago. With long slender thighs, the whole hip-swiveling ensemble impress and Walter Bobbie's direction is as taut and sexy as his sassy actors' G-strings.
