Kings of Leon announce secret London gig tonight... and sell it out in 21 minutes

The band will play their smallest show in London for six years
Surprise: the band are promoting their latest album, Walls

Sex On Fire hitmakers The Kings of Leon are to play their smallest show in London for six years tonight, October 18, in front of just 500 fans – who sold out the gig in just 21 minutes.

The US rock giants, from Nashville, Tennessee, will perform this evening from 8pm at 229 Great Portland Street to showcase tracks from their new album Walls, as well as their back catalogue of hits, which include Use Somebody and Revelry.

News of the intimate gig quickly spread among keen fans, and tickets, limited to one per person, quickly disappeared when they went on sale at 1pm. They were priced at just £20. However, it’s been rumoured a handful of tickets may be given away across their social media.

The band caused controversy last week as they announced their UK tour, which does not stop in London.
