Grungey new London band VANT are great fun live and can now be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. Their debut album, Dumb Blood, is out today, including the rowdy latest single Do You Know Me?

Pop rock veterans Texas have a new album coming in April, and head for the disco on the comeback single Let’s Work It Out. The new video stars football hero Thierry Henry, no less.

On their run of singles, including the strange latest, U-RITE, hard to google LA duo THEY. have been showing the world what R&B sounds like when made by Nivana fans. Next week there’ll be a debut album that rounds all this impressive stuff up.

New Norwegian solo star Sigrid takes inspiration from Kendrick Lamar on her debut single Don’t Kill My Vibe, but instead of rapping, she sings over thunderous electropop. It’s in download stores now.

Recently revealed as the latest curator of the Southbank’s prestigious Meltdown Festival, firebrand rapper-producer M.I.A. has celebrated by putting a hyperactive new song, POWA, online with a self-directed video.
