Dee Acharya23 March 2012

Hip-hop singer Lauryn Hill is set to make a triumphant comeback to the UK stage after a hiatus of five years.

Details were announced yesterday of a rare one-off gig at London’s O2 Arena on April 14th, forming part of a series of shows across Europe to promote Hill’s forthcoming album, The Return.

The singer shot to fame in the mid-1990’s with the American hip-hop group Fugees, a trio that also included rappers Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel, before going solo with her debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Tickets go on general sale from 9am on Friday 23rd via Live Nation – but be warned, they’re going to sell out fast.

Tickets from £42.50, livenation.co.uk
