Animal Crossing: New Horizons is in the full swing of summer for players in the northern hemisphere.

We already covered the new fish and bugs now available in the game, but there are also new items being added to the Nook Stop terminal.

Nook Inc is now selling seasonal wares with new, limited-time items. You can buy a Father Day mug, a Handmade cape and a Handmade crown in honour of Father's Day and International Children's Day.

You can also purchase some more clothes, like the Summer-solstice crown and Winter-solstice jumper.

The cape, mug and crown are all available in the game until June 30, while the flowery summer solstice crown and winter jumper will be available until July 6.

How to buy seasonal items

In case you didn't know, the Nook Inc shopping terminal in the Resident Services building (or tent) has another tab to switch to.

First, interact with the terminal and select 'Special Goods'.

Once that's done, you'll see the usual shop menu, but in the top centre of the screen, there will be another tab, which you can switch to with the L and R buttons.

Pressing R will switch you over from the 'Daily Selection' to the Seasonal tab, where you will find all the items.

They don't cost many bells at all, so you might as well pick them all up for completion's sake.

Animal Crossing has also added another event this June called Wedding Season.

This lets you earn special wedding-themed furniture by travelling to Harv's Island and taking part in some wedding photography for the llama couple Reese and Cyrus.

If you do well, you'll be rewarded with a new special currency called heart crystals, which you can use to trade for wedding items.
