Creativity is running rampant on Animal Crossing: New Horizons and some Avatar fans have recreated the spirit oasis from The Last Airbender cartoon.

The hit cartoon was first released in 2005 but it has only recently come to Netflix in certain parts of the world, so people are feeling inspired.

This inspiration is spreading to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it seems, as fans are recreating scenes from the cartoon.

Due to the customisation features available in New Horizons, people are able to drastically transform their islands.

Creativity has been rife ever since Animal Crossing was first released this year, from people recreating TV show intros like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Netflix's Japanese reality tv show Terrace House and someone even carved Danny DeVito's face into their island.

The scenes recreated here, and shared on Reddit, are smaller in scale but by no means any less impressive.

Reddit users have been sharing screenshots of the tributes to Avatar: The Last Airbender, recreating a scene from the cartoon's first season finale.

User illni's version of the oasis has been lovingly recreated, creating a serene spot on their island.

The show seems to have remained popular to everyone, regardless if they first watched it in 2005 or just discovered it by accident now.

Redditor shdycnnn also shared their creation on the Animal Crossing subreddit, making for an extremely pleasing scene.

The Last Airbender has been fondly remembered over the years, owing in part to the story, themes and topics tackled in the animation, and this first cartoon spawned multiple sequels and tie-in material.

While it does give us all island-envy due to their boundless creativity, it is always impressive and a joy to see the creations people have made in New Horizons.

It seems likely that you wouldn't get any sort of special powers from praying at the oasis, you'll no doubt have a peaceful respite.

But if you're inspired to recreate it, we bid you good fortune in your efforts.

Other players are creating wonderful costumes in-game as well, for example, Marvel hero outfits. Check them out here.
