Thriller: Whiteout

Dominic Sena’s Antartica-set thriller stars Kate Beckinsale as an anguished, about-to-quit cop embroiled in one last job.

Beckinsale has the eyes of an ingénue and the eyebrows of a villainess. The film is more straightforward. "Always a dull moment around here," quips her medical friend, Doc (the fantastically craggy Tom Skerritt).
