Woody Allen chose London as the location for his last film Match Point.
Evening Standard10 April 2012

American director Woody Allen is set to make his third film in London after scrapping a Paris-based project because of spiralling costs.

Allen, 70, is secretive about new projects and the plot, cast and title of the British film remain under wraps.

The director fell for London in 2004 while filming Match Point. Scoop came a year later.

Both starred Scarlett Johansson and she, along with Kate Winslet, is thought to be in the running for a role.
