Mel Gibson’s latest directorial effort, The Passion of the Christ, is an epic tale chronicling the last days of Jesus’s life - and stirred up huge amounts of controversy months before its release.
Starring Jim Caviezel and The Matrix Reloaded star Monica Bellucci, Mel has made the movie entirely in the ancient languages of Aramaic and Latin.
With not a word of English spoken in the entire movie, and some religious leaders concerned about the film’s portrayal of the relationship between the Jews and Romans, The Passion… is set to create huge waves when it is released in Britain on March 26.
