Billy Crystal is cast as a sleazy showbiz hustler who has a car crash in Romania and gets rescued by two huge hands that his dazed state attributes to God. Instead, they belong to Gheorghe Muresan, a 7ft 7in basketball player. The compassionate 'giant' is carted off to America where Crystal callously uses him to get revenge on some of his ingrate clients while working to set the guy up again with his estranged wife. The story feels like two vehicles compacted into one unsatisfactory mess. Crystal plays obnoxious, Muresan plays charming; but they don't hit it off together and the film has a fatal sense of exploiting sheer height for low laughs.
