Keira's muscle moan

The interview is taken from April's Vanity Fair magazine

Britain's hottest young actress has told how bodybuilding for a new film role left her insecure about her appearance.

Keira Knightley, 18, criticises her looks after three months of intense physical training for her role as Guinevere in King Arthur.

"I've seen pictures of myself - I'm big," said Knightley, who trained under Ed Chow, the man who chiselled Angelina Jolie into shape for Tomb Raider. "You can see proper muscles.

"It freaked me out because it didn't feel like me anymore - the shape was completely different," she told Vanity Fair magazine.

The star of Bend It Like Beckham and Pirates Of The Carribean, who is preparing to move to Chelsea from her parents' home in Teddington, laments that men seem to steer clear of her. Judging by this latest picture, taken by Mario Testino, they may be deterred by her striking good looks. But she insisted: "I think I always disappoint people."
