Audrey Hepburn's personal belongings are up for auction in final Christie's sale

1/12

Film icon Audrey Hepburn’s personal belongings are set to go under the hammer at Christie’s next month.

Over 200 lots will feature in what will be the third and final auction of items from Hepburn’s estate. Items include clothing, jewellery, photography and film memorabilia.

A pair of pearl earrings worn by the star and a high-necked Edwardian blouse worn in the filming of My Fair Lady have the highest estimates, expected to fetch between £8,000 and £12,000.

Other highlights include a Cartier giraffe brooch, a Bulgari cigarette case and a Christian Dior pen - all reminders that Hepburn was never one to scrimp when it came to style.

The first auction of the collection took place last September, and took £4.3 million - over seven times the original estimate. Hepburn’s script for Breakfast at Tiffany’s, complete with her own annotations, was the top lot, fetching over £600,000.

The auction takes place online between May 2-9. You can register online at christies.com
