No-fault divorce is being introduced in England and Wales tomorrow.

The previous laws in place meant that in order to legally end a marriage, one partner would be made to blame the other – or wait anything from two to five years before being able to start the legal process of splitting.

Many are praising what is the biggest reform of divorce laws in 50 years… but there are critics too.

We hear from Nigel Shepherd, the former chair of Resolution who led their campaign to bring in no-fault divorce. He’s also a highly experienced family lawyer.
